There are two console choices for all Life Fitness upright bikes. The basic console comes with 5 preprogrammed workouts and is not Polar compatible. The advanced option is Polar compatible and comes with 10 preprogrammed workouts plus a race mode, goal setting options, and other personalized features.
Two other popular models that come with this optional console choice are the Life Fitness C3 exercise bike and the Life Fitness C1 exercise bike. While both bikes are very similar, there are a couple basic differences. The C3 will hold up to 400 pounds, but the C1 will only hold users up to 300 pounds and includes a bonus water bottle holder. Both bikes offer 20 levels of resistance.
While these upright models are high quality professional bikes, they are priced lower than the top-of-the-line C9i model.
