Lifecycle Recumbent Bikes

Lifecycle recumbent bikes are great for larger people, or those with mobility considerations. For many people, a recumbent exercise bike is the best choice for staying physically fit. Having a seat with a back enables the user to reduce lower back or shoulder stress, and maximize the focus on the legs and abdomen.

There are several leading styles of Lifecycle recumbent bikes, including the PCS, R9i, and R3 models. Each one has a different set of features, and is designed expressly to offer more functionality for different applications, as we will discuss shortly.

Lifecycle R9i Exercise Bike

The Lifecycle R9i recumbent exercise bike has a number of innovative features, including two set of handlebars, which allows the user to get a full body workout. The seat can be set to any one of 34 possible settings, and adjusts using an easy to reach handle.

Many Lifecycle recumbent exercise bikes, including the Lifecycle PCS recumbent exercise bikes and R9i, are designed for home use, and can be easily moved from one location in the home to another, if required. They are built to be ultra stable, and provide novices and experts alike a consistently smooth and balanced workout. Lifecycle R9i exercise bikes are meant to handle larger sizes than most exercise bikes, too, with a maximum capacity of 400 pounds.

The onboard computer of the Lifecycle R9i recumbent bike has 19 built in workout programs, and allows up to 7 additional programs to be customized by the user. It is also a self powered bike, without need for placement near electrical outlets, or dangerous cords running around the walls. Displays show vital session information, such as distance traveled, calories burned (watts), average speed, and much more.

Lifecycle R3 Recumbent Bike

Most Lifecycle exercise bikes, including the Lifecycle R3, have a Polar wireless chest strap which transmits sessions biofeedback to the onboard computer for analysis and tailoring a specific workout agenda. Onboard programs include manual control, hilly simulations, mixed terrain, several heart rate control programs, a fat burner routine, and the special endurance style race mode.

The Lifecycle R3 includes an accessory tray and reading rack, for an enjoyable and relaxing workout session. Keep your cellphone, MP3 player other device handy during your morning workout, or enjoy a good book book as you tone up in the evening.

Lifecycle recumbent bikes are among the most technological and innovative exercise bikes constructed. They are warranted for years of use in both home and commercial settings, and are widely used in physical training programs or physical therapy clinics.
